Covid-19 Info

Shelter, by Dee Peppe

As the pandemic continues to impact the world, I find the future extremely unpredictable. It is hard to make plans for next week, never mind 4 months from now. Every day is an exercise in ‘living in the moment’ and trying to stay flexible is key.

So, where does that leave the Photo Tour program? Each Tour has its own set of circumstances. A lot depends on where you are coming from, how many in your group, what other services the tour relies on, and the date. Please check the individual tour sites for more info and please be flexible as changes are happening so quickly.

Essentially,  I will run the tours when it is possible for the group to follow Maine CDC guidelines. Photography lends itself to social distancing, and while the groups are small, all safety measures will still need to be practiced. Please come with your own hand sanitizer and your face coverings and be prepared to wear them correctly if your health allows when social distancing is not possible. I will have additional personal protective equipment available should you like to beef-up your protection.

Cancellations: For all one-day Photo Tours and 1/2-day Photo Walks, you will receive a full refund if you need to cancel up to 24 hours before the start of your tour and a 50% refund if less than 24 hours. This policy overrides any other published cancellation policies. The cancellation policy for the multi-day Workshops are posted on their pages. I always give a full refund if I need to cancel a tour for any reason.

Note to Travelers in Maine: Currently through August, if you are from any state other than Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, New York, or New Jersey then you will need to either quarantine for 14-days when you get to Maine, or have a negative Covid-19 test done in the 72-hours prior to arriving. Here’s Maine’s official website that covers facts for visitors.

Thank you for doing your part to help flatten the curve.
