Good Photo Movie: Kodachrome

If you’ve got Netflix, there’s a movie currently available (Jan. 2024) that’s good for anyone who loves photography: Kodachrome.
It’s the story of a photographer (played by Ed Harris) at the end of his life trying to get his last few rolls of Kodachrome film developed at the last remaining lab on their last of day of operation. He drafts his nurse and his estranged son (Jason Sudeikis) to help him drive there.
Some of it is hokey but there’s lots of good stuff for photographers: discussions about the value of photography and art and passion. And about the choices we make in life and how they reverberate.
