This Monhegan Photography Workshop is fun, adventurous, educational, and yet relaxing. Think “Adult Summer Photo Camp”. Days are full, but not rushed. Join me and immerse yourself in island life as we explore the heart and soul of a charming, unique island with a year-round population of 65 and no paved roads and few motor-vehicles. Let your experiences inform your image making. Photography workshop details are below.

Discover Monhegan’s tranquility and natural beauty that for many years has drawn artists and travelers. Those who have been inspired by its charm include well known artists such as Rockwell Kent, James Fitzgerald, George Bellows, Robert Henri, and Jamie Wyeth. You’ll be stepping back in time when your reach this unbridged island, 10 miles from the mainland.

“We visited rocky beaches and quiet forest trails. The small commercial strip also offered opportunities. The group was small, so there was plenty of personal attention. This tour provided a wonderful glimpse of scenic Maine” – Harry O.
